Family Goldenbridge Cemetery Tour

Join us on this Family friendly tour of the Goldenbridge Cemetery !

Visitors can once again experience the atmospheric surrounds of Goldenbridge Cemetery on our guided tours through Ireland's first garden cemetery. Founded by Daniel O’Connell almost 200 years ago, as Ireland's first non-denominational burial ground, visitors can walk through this unspoilt 19th century garden cemetery and learn about its unique history, including the vaults, the watchmen, the Cuban guard dogs and the body snatchers. Led by professional tour guides, the tour will visit the graves of two former Taoisigh as well as the graves of the many men, women and children buried here, whose stories shine a light on 19th century Irish life and society.
