Book NowWhat was the Irish capital like in a time of Civil War? As Richmond Barracks and sites like it across the city emptied of British regiments, the city moved into a new period of conflict. In housing, labour and culture it was a defining time for Dublin.
Over three weeks, this course with historian Donal Fallon will examine the city of 1922 and 1923, drawing on primary source materials. It will explore some well-known figures in the history of the city, but focus will be on the masses of the people, asking how they experienced these exciting times.
Course dates: Nov 22, Nov 29th and Dec 6th at 6pm
