Children’s History Workshop: Spooky Stories

Join Dublin’s Historian-in-Residence for Children Dervilia Roche for this free, interactive workshop for children aged 9 - 12 at Richmond Barracks.

Trace the roots of Hallowe’en back to the ancient festival of Samhain, listen to spooky stories inspired by local folklore, and find out about the fun games your grandparents might have played at this time of year.

We encourage you to come in a Hallowe’en costume, or dressed as a notable figure from history!

Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the workshop.
