Richmond Barracks

Online Book Club : ‘Rememberings’ by Sinéad O’Connor

Join us for our October book club where we will be reading and discussing Rememberings by Sinéad O’Connor.

In Rememberings, the Irish music icon Sinéad O'Connor tells her story - the heartache of growing up in a family falling apart; her early forays into the Dublin music scene; her adventures and misadventures in the world of sex, drugs and rock'n'roll; the fulfillment of being a mother; her ongoing spiritual quest - and through it all, her abiding passion for music.

The Richmond Barracks book clubs are held on the last Wednesday and Thursday of every month, one taking place online and the other in-person at Richmond Barracks. We start each session with an inclusive discussion about the current title and then have a broader discussion about what we’re reading and swap recommendations.

The event will take place online using Zoom. The Zoom link for this online event will be sent to you in a reminder email, 24 hours prior to the event.

If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact us on +353 1524 2532 or email us at info@richmondbarracks.ie.

These workshops are part of the Culture Connects programme. Culture Connects is a year-round programme that invites people in Dublin to try out new things.

Culture Connects is made by Dublin City Council Culture Company and currently runs at Richmond Barracks, Inchicore.
