“The dog that didn’t bark” is how Dublin has been described due to the lack of activity during the rebellion of 1798. This talk will look at the rebellion and its failure to ignite in Dublin. It will look at the planning, the betrayals and the aftermath of the rebellion and the consequences for the city and the country
