Join Dublin’s Historian-in-Residence for Children Dervilia Roche and tour guide Pat Garry in this free, interactive Zoom workshop for children.

Explore the secret symbols of history, from mysterious carvings at Newgrange to the animals concealed in Dublin’s architecture, learn about the hidden meanings behind these, and create your own secret symbols using modelling dough.

What will you need?

Participants are asked to source modelling dough or modeling clay, as well as something safe to carve with (for example, Play-Doh knife, cocktail stick).
