The D8 GreenBridge forum (previously called the Greening Forum), emerged out of the recommendations of Mapping Green Dublin (2019 – 2021) a collaborative action research project led by UCD’s School of Geography in collaboration with arts organisation Common Ground and artist Seoidín O’Sullivan.
Current Projects:
Improve access to the Grand Canal Tow Path including environmental and amenity development
Build a register of local micro greening initiatives e.g. local tree planting, public green space improvement
Turvey Park - Improving amenities and social / cultural initiatives and signage in the park
Green space development specific to public housing e.g Emmet Road and Dolphin House
Research and monitoring DCC and Waterways Ireland key green/blue development initiatives for the area.
