Led by our eco-gardener in residence Polly Rowley-Sams, this one hour online workshop will help you get to grips with tools and maintenance in the garden.

The workshop will offer participants information on how to use everyday tools in the garden as well as general maintenance. This is an opportunity to gain confidence in garden DIY and get some inspiration to get stuck into your own projects. There will be plenty of advice, knowledge swapping and time to ask questions.

No experience necessary and you are welcome regardless of what growing space you have, from balcony pots to vast lawns! Participants will not be using tools during the workshop and do not need any equipment.

If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact us on +353 1 524 0391 or email us at info@richmondbarracks.ie

This workshop is free to attend but places must be booked in advance.

Culture Connects

Culture Connects is a year-round programme that invites people in Dublin to try out new things. We offer ways for people to make and create together, to share ideas and connect through culture and conversation.

Our workshops cover a wide range of cultural activities from home growing to history, painting to poetry, dancing to drawing and so much more. We design sessions so that you can join one workshop or come for several, depending on your preference. Please keep an eye on the website or sign up to our newsletter for regular updates.
