Le fáil i nDún Richmond tá leabharlann, ceardlanna agus gníomhaíochtaí cultúir, in éineacht le clár de thurais stairiúla agus cainteanna. Tá clár ar a dtugtar Ceangal tríd an gCultúr á rith ón ionad agus is féidir le daoine de gach aois páirt a ghlacadh i ngníomhaíochtaí cultúir. Is cúis áthais dúinn freisin sraith de chainteanna ar líne agus de cheardlanna a chur ar fáil.

Through workshops and activities, Culture Connects invites you to try out new things, make and create together, and to connect through culture and conversation. From gardening to dance, writing, painting, movement, history and more, there’s lots to explore.

Dublin City Council Culture Company will deliver quarterly fairs in Richmond Barracks in 2024.

With these fairs, we aim to:

  • Promote culture and creativity, entrepreneurship, and the programme of Richmond Barracks
  • Showcase and provide commercial opportunities for quality and creativity of small businesses, craftspeople, makers, and social enterprises

There will be a total of four fairs a year, one per quarter, showcasing the talents of makers, creatives, and social entrepreneurs whilst providing genuine gifting options and a wonderful atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Through the Culture Company’s Culture Connects @ Richmond Barracks programme, there will be opportunities for people to attend cultural/creative workshops during the fairs and learn about our annual programme for repeat visits for other cultural and creative adventures.

We will have entertainment provided by talented performers in our gorgeous garden and there will be tea, coffee, and food available to purchase in the garden and café too.

The fairs will provide an opportunity for artists, businesses, and social enterprises to showcase what they do and to build their own creative and business networks.

When possible, Inchicore Library will be open each day, and along with all their usual services, they will have a special selection of books available that relate to the theme of each particular Fair.

The fairs will take place on the following dates with the following themes:
