To celebrate St. Brigid’s Day, our Historian-in-Residence for Children, Dervilia Roche will be hosting  a history workshop for children aged 9-12, looking at the fact, fiction and folklore of Brigid as goddess and saint. Along with exploring the rich and varied stories about her life and the traditions associated with her, the children will also learn how to make a St. Brigid’s Day cross.

The workshop is free but booking is essential.

About the Creative Residency

The Creative Residency @ Richmond Barracks and is made by Dublin City Council Culture Company in partnership with Dublin City Libraries, this 12 month residence will support historian Dervilia Roche to explore history with children.
