When: Thursday 7 October, at 11:00am
Join Tour Guide Justine Murphy for this free online talk about the suffragette movement in Dublin and Ireland.
The campaign to give women the vote in Ireland was built around activism and the clever use of media and images. We’ll look at some of those humorous cartoons, posters and pamphlets urging people to support votes for women in the early 20th century.
This event will take place online using Zoom. The Zoom link for this online event will be sent to you in a reminder email, 48 hours prior to the event.
