Inchicore Library is proud to present a sensory space including a Senso Cube.
The Senso Cube is an accessible, modular box designed to provide multi-sensory experiences. It is equipped with a variety of tools and objects that stimulate the senses, creating a calm and therapeutic environment, particularly beneficial for individuals with sensory processing needs.
Features include visual elements such as bubble tubes and fibre optic lighting to create soothing light displays, as well as auditory options like gentle music, nature sounds, and interactive sound panels.

In addition to the Senso Cube, the library also offers a range of sensory resources, including (but not limited to) a sensory mood egg, sensory circles, lock-and-latch boards, magnetic mazes, and beanbags.
The sensory services are located off the main library floor, providing a quieter, more private environment. The room is a flexible space and can be set up to suit the needs of the individual or group.
All are welcome to use the Senso Cube and sensory space. We recommend booking to avoid disappointment.
