Join us in the heart of Inchicore at Richmond Barracks for our Harvest Fair on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September from 11 am to 5 pm.
The Harvest Fair celebrates the abundance of the season inspired by the Fair themes of Eat, Grow and Make.
There will be free creative and cultural workshops for all ages. Seasonal crafts and products will be available to buy along with a variety of food and drinks. Inchicore Library will be open on both days.
Admission to the Fair is free. The building is accessible, with parking for bikes and for buggies. Find directions here. The Fair is family friendly and dogs are welcome.

Try out our free creative workshops for all ages. Each workshop is led by an experienced artist from our Culture Connects programme, which runs year-round at Richmond Barracks.
To take part in these workshops you must book a place on the day. We have included the times that booking opens for each workshop below.
Places may be limited. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Join Artist in Residence Shannon Jade Wilson to create your own púca masks, inspired by the shape-shifting púca of Irish folklore.

Join Change Clothes to make a pumpkin using scrap textiles. Using a simple template you can hand-stitch or glue the fabric pieces together, stuffing them with fabric offcuts for an entirely waste-free project.

Join Artist in Residence Paula Garcia Ibanez to create a mosaic using dried beans, lentils and grains. Make your own unique pattern or picture on air-drying clay to bring home.

Join us for a rendition of Oscar Wilde's children's story 'The Selfish Giant' told through shadow theatre techniques, storytelling and music.
The story has been adapted, composed and performed by Carmen Merina of Glowing Bug Puppet Theatre and our Eco-Gardener Polly Rowley-Sams. The performance will include an exploration of native Irish trees and plants in the Richmond Barracks garden.

Say good morning to the Richmond Barracks garden! Join Artist in Residence Shane McGrath for an imaginative stroll around the garden that includes music, stories and songs - perfect for mini musicians and nature enthusiasts.
This workshop is best suited for children ages 2 to 6 but all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sunday 13 September, 12 pm to 1.15 pm
Founded by Daniel O’Connell nearly 200 years ago as Ireland's first garden cemetery, the unspoiled grounds of Goldenbridge Cemetery reveal stories of secret watchmen, underground vaults and body snatchers. Join our expert guides to discover the natural beauty of this often overlooked Victorian site and the historic graves within. This tour starts at Richmond Barracks. The walk to the cemetery entrance is approximately eight minutes.

Richmond Barracks is located off Bulfin Road, in the heart of Inchicore. It is easy to find by Dublin Bus, Luas, bicycle, walking or by car.
