Inchicore Library offers a number of groups and clubs that are open for anyone to join. Some of them are listed below.

Sensory Time


Join us on Mondays for our Sensory Playtime which runs every Monday from 11 am to 12 pm. We can’t wait to show you Dublin City Libraries wonderful sensory offerings! There are lots of sensory friendly toys and our brand new Senso Cube! 

Please note these sessions are free play and all children will need to be supervised.

No booking is required.

The Movie and Book Club


The Movie and Book Club meets on the third Monday of the month at 2.15 pm to discuss a book and its film adaptation. 

Contact the library to pick up your copy of the book and film.

 

The Junior Book Club


The Junior Book Club is for budding readers aged 7 to 9 years and meets on the third Tuesday of the month. 

Contact the library to pick up your copy of the book.

 

The Other Book Club


A friendly space for short reads that open into discussion. We welcome people who read a little, a lot, or are just getting back into it. Our next meeting will be discussing ‘So Late in the Day’ by Claire Keegan on Saturday 21 March.

Toddler Time


Come along every Wednesday at 10 am for our Toddler Time. There will be stories, toys and plenty of fun. 

No booking required, all ages welcome.

 

The Knitting Club


The Knitting Club meets on Thursdays from 3 pm to 4.30 pm. Both experienced knitters and beginners are welcome to join in. 

It is a drop-in event, no booking is needed.

 

Inchicore Heritage Society Talks


Inchicore Library is delighted to host the Kilmainham Inchicore Heritage Group every month for an interesting talk of local interest. March’s talk will take place on Wednesday 18 March at 6.30 pm.

ComMUniversity


Inchicore Library is delighted to be hosting ComMUniversity, run by Dublin South City Partnership.

Are you interested in university-style learning without exams or assignments? ComMUniversity offers the chance to explore subjects like local history, psychology, and the social analysis of everyday life, all rooted in your own community.

Taking place on Tuesdays, 24 February to 2 June from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm.
