There are lots of activities to get involved in over the month of June in Inchicore Library. Some of them are below.
You can also take a look at the various groups and clubs in the library that are open for anyone to join.

As part of Cruinniú na nÓg, these mindful and creative workshops invite children to explore movement, storytelling, art and relaxation in a gentle, imaginative setting. Through guided mindful movement inspired by story imagery, children will build confidence, creativity and body awareness before responding through collaborative visual art and calming meditation.
This workshop for children aged 5 to 8 years is inspired by the book ‘What Will You Dream of Tonight?’ by Frances Stickley. Journey through magical landscapes, discovering playful yoga-inspired poses drawn from the story’s imagery. Children will then take part in an interactive game before creating a large collaborative scroll artwork inspired by their favourite moments, characters and poses from the story. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
Takes place on Saturday 6 June, 12 pm to 1 pm
This workshop for children aged 9 to 12 years is inspired by the classic fable ‘The Lion and the Mouse’. Explore courage, kindness and resilience through discussion and mindful movement. Participants will learn a series of warrior-inspired yoga poses before using lollipop sticks to recreate and build the poses in a playful, hands-on activity. Children will then respond creatively by drawing the poses and story-inspired imagery onto a collaborative scroll artwork. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
Takes place on Saturday 6 June, 2 pm to 3 pm
